In the part of the world where I live the lines between the seasons have been blurring lately. Now, we have lovely warm pretend spring days followed by the worst snowstorm in any number of years, and back and forth.
This was our first visit to Alberta, and we decided to explore, Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise before heading to British Columbia for the remainder of our 20 day trip.

From the moment we entered our worries went away. The ship is enormous and gorgeous. We purchased the outside cabin with ocean view, and it was perfect. Lots of natural light, beautiful room that was maintained 3-4 times a day.
Surrounded by the Rocky Mountains in the Kootenay Rockies, British Columbia, this relaxed resort lies on natural hot springs. The resort is named after the town and is located 1.3 km from downtown Fairmont Hot Springs.
We spent three days and two nights at the Panorama Mountain Resort in the mountain town of Panorama, BC. Situated in Purcell Mountains range with views of the Rocky Mountains it’s approximately 3.5 hours from Calgary airport.
We were lucky to be invited to Blue Mountain Resort for a preview of summer at Blue. As you can probably imagine we had an absolutely glorious time!
