From the moment you step off the plane, the warm Florida air hits you, and you immediately feel like you’re about to have a great time. One of the highlights of our trip was staying at the Omni Fort Lauderdale. From the moment we arrived, the hotel made everything feel smooth and stress-free. One of the biggest perks was the complimentary shuttle to the beach. Not having to worry about transportation meant more time enjoying the trip and less time figuring out logistics.

One of my favourite features was the rooftop pool. With beautiful views and warm Florida sunshine, it added a touch of luxury to the experience. There was also a 21+ lounge on the top floor with a relaxing atmosphere, the perfect place to unwind in the evening. On top of that, several restaurants were located right inside the hotel, making it easy to grab a meal or snack without ever leaving the property.

Everything was designed to make our stay comfortable and convenient. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of without even having to ask.

What makes the location even better is how much there is to do nearby. You’re never stuck wondering what to do next. From shopping and dining to simply exploring the area, there’s always something to discover.

One of my favourite parts of the trip was spending time at the beach and exploring the shops along the waterfront. The area is filled with beach boutiques, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to spend an entire day moving between the ocean, grabbing a bite to eat, and browsing local stores.

Another unique experience was exploring Fort Lauderdale with Circuit, a company that offers free electric golf cart rides around the city. It was such a fun and easy way to see more of the area without worrying about transportation or booking a tour. Along the way, we discovered local art, beautiful neighbourhoods, and some of the city’s most scenic spots.

In the end, Fort Lauderdale isn’t just a destination—it’s the kind of place that makes a girls’ trip feel effortless. Everywhere we went, people were kind and welcoming, and I never once felt unsafe. That sense of comfort matters, especially when you’re travelling with friends and simply want to relax and enjoy yourself.
